QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
? A Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent in relevant work experience is required.
? SHRM-CP a plus.
? At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
? Bi-lingual is preferred.

? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required.
? Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information software (HRIS) system, and similar computer applications.

? Proven effective organizational skills with attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:
? Provide complete support to the HR Department or other Leadership Team members if needed.
? Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
? Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
? Supports in recruiting, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
? Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
? Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
? Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
? Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
? Participate in department meetings to ensure the team is aware of work load and areas that may affect others.
? Support positive efforts for all company related events through the company wellness and events committees.
? Process reports and update spreadsheets as requested.
? Ensure documents are organized in a fashion easily accessible to HR.
? Maintains associate information through saving documents to the personnel records, and HR files.
Processes associate data utilizing the HRIS system.
? Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
? Maintain visibility with all associates and addresses any issues or concerns that are identified in a timely and professional manner by running the proper processes or running the proper channels to address concerns.
? Provide a positive, approachable high-performance culture that emphasizes ongoing development of a superior workforce.
? Provide full support of management decisions.

It is the Associate's responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs.
A post training recap may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
